Mirukī was created by our founder Chanelle, a mother of two girls under two, who lived through the reality of sleepwear that just wasn't working. After two babies in two years, she'd had enough of breast pads slipping away in the night, sleepwear that needed constant washing, and feeling like she'd lost herself somewhere in the beautiful blur of early motherhood. Our sleepwear is crafted in Turkey by a family-owned mill with decades of expertise in premium textiles, while our signature breast pads are made by trusted specialists in China. We work closely with a UK-based, female-founded design studio throughout development, and every piece passes through skilled hands who understand that what we're creating isn't just sleepwear, it's support, wrapped in softness. Many of the makers who bring Mirukī to life are mothers themselves, and you can feel that care woven into every stitch. We only work with partners who share our commitment to fair treatment, skilled craftsmanship, and genuine pride in their work. We work with OEKO-TEX® certified materials, source our trims locally across the UK and EU to reduce our footprint, and partner with mills that use reduced water in their finishing processes. We produce in small batches so we can focus on what really matters: fabrics that feel as soft on the fifth wash as they did on the first, gentle on postpartum skin, and made with OEKO-TEX® certified materials.
