I'm a mother of two girls under two, and like so many women, I entered motherhood expecting the chaos, the joy, the tears, the sleeplessness. What I didn't expect was how unsupported I'd feel by the products that were meant to care for me.

I was leaking, sore, overwhelmed, and endlessly frustrated by sleepwear that felt clinical, frumpy, or just impractical. Breast pads slipped into the sheets. Nursing singlets needed washing after every wear. And anything remotely stylish required sleeping in a bra.

The nights were long, the days were full, and somewhere in the blur I felt myself slipping away.
